This is a lovely Pickard china plate entitled "Child in White" by Pierre-Auguste Renoir (French Impressionist 1841-1919).
It is a limited edition plate made in 1978 of just 5000 and is the 2nd plate of 6 in "The Children of Renoir" collection.
It measures approx. 8 1/4 inches in diameter with a rich border of 23 karat gold, hand painted over delicate embossing. Plate # 4520
