This is a lovely Pickard china plate entitled "Girl With A Hoop" by Pierre-Auguste Renoir (French Impressionist 1841-1919) made in 1979.
It is a limited edition plate of just 5000 and is the 3rd plate out of 6 in "The Children of Renoir" collection.
The plate measures approx. 8 1/4 inches in diameter with a rich border of 23 karat gold, hand painted over delicate embossing. Plate # 2804
